Titanium dioxide nanostructures are formed by a simple one-stage method of thermal oxidation titanium in the temperature range 700 - 900 °C. The structures were studied high-resolution electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction. It is shown that, depending on temperature, form crystallites, granules, dendrites TiO2-rutile surface metallic titanium. proposed promising for large-scale creation advanced functionalized TiO2 surfaces applicable catalysis sensorics.
